Transforming data into actionable insights and sustainable impact since 2020.
GREME — Group for Research, Evaluation, and Monitoring Consulting — was born out of a deep belief that development interventions must be rooted in evidence, and that evidence must be gathered with rigor, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to the communities it serves.
Founded in 2020 by Juliana Adjem Anchang, GREME was established to fill a critical gap in the Cameroonian M&E landscape: the need for a locally rooted firm that combines international-standard evaluation methodologies with deep contextual knowledge of the communities and systems in which development programs operate.
Before founding GREME, Juliana had spent years working across research, monitoring, and evaluation in both institutional and field-based settings. She witnessed first-hand how M&E was often treated as an afterthought — a box-ticking exercise rather than a learning tool. Too often, organizations collected data without using it, designed programs without baselines, or evaluated impact using tools that failed to capture the lived experiences of the people they aimed to serve.
GREME was created to change that. From its inception, the firm was built around a simple but powerful idea: that good M&E should not just report on what happened, but should help organizations understand why it happened, what it means, and what to do next.
Officially registered with APME Limbe in May 2022, GREME has since grown into a trusted partner for national and international organizations seeking high-quality evaluation, applied research, and strategic planning services.
